2 years back I was having my face full of severe acne. I consulted so many doctors in so many hospitals but nothing changed and on the other hand the situation was getting worse only. One day my friend suggested to consult Dr. Shikha at least once. I went there the very next day and met Dr. Shikha. It just took 6 months to clear my face and regain my inner confidence. That day and today I have never consulted any other dermat because my trust for Dr. Shikha is just on another level. I had a disastrous experience with the doctor ** *** ***** **** *** ** ***** **** ********* I asked her if there is any concession for the family members as the fee was raised from 300 to 400 per person. She started shouting like anything and said do not talk like shopkeepers and she used the word ridi.culous with me of which I raised a question that doctors don't use these kind of words with patients. In compliance to your message dated-6 April 2019, i Asha Rani is here by submit my opinion in favour of Doctor Shikha Verma. Myself is suffering from skin disease since last one year, i visited at various skin hospital and take proper treatment as per their advice. Even i am getting treatment from PGI but i feel that the experience as per as nature of Dr. Shikha Verma is not found in any doctor till date. Even my husband served in BSF and retired as INSPECTOR. He has also apriciated about the nature,experience and way of expressing about disease with smilling face to the patient of above doctor. Not only this my husband also expressed the nature , experince of said doctor. If such type of doctor available in each hospital then every patient can be recovered from their disease witout taking any medicine. Not only this the nature and the behaviour of all the staff avaliable at the hospital are highly appreciated.

She was rude not once but both the times I visited her. Whatever is being recommended, the patient has the right to ask questions on that. Saying things like you are whiling my time away, I have to give extra consultation time because of these questions. What is your degree? If none then let me do the talking and you do the listening. My degree may not be related to skin, but I’ve lived with myself for 28 years and never have I experienced acne nor have had dandruff so all

I said was I don’t have dandruff and whatever the bumps are on my face, doesn’t look like acne. Literally the first 2 statements after entering her clinic and she asked what is your degree, extremely rudely. And then went on ahead to explain about the acne. A PATIENT SHOULD KNOW WHAT IS BEING PRESCRIBED TO THEM, WHAT MEDICATION IS BEING DONE AND WHY. If the doctor doesn’t have the patience to answer questions or doubts, and says things like the questions are not worthy of my time is UNACCEPTABLE.
